Beautiful Sweets is shy at first, but warms up quickly with gentle petting. In no time, her loud motor purr comes out, and she'll relax in your arms or lap. She likes to gently hiss a hello--it's not a mean hiss, it's kind of her quirky trademark! She just wants to be with people (and other cats) in a stress-free, quiet environment where she can thrive.
Sweets came from a hoarding situation and was frightened when she first came into foster care. But her foster worked with her gently to bring her out of her shell.
Sweets has a lipoma (benign fatty tumor) on her left shoulder, which will not need removal. It adds character!
