Sarge has mellow, friendly energy. He prefers to spend most of his time sleeping, with a small portion of the rest of his time gently demanding pets and chin scratches. Sarge can be guarded at first in a new environment, but some love makes him relax and open up quickly. He would do great in a low-energy home, or with a family that wants a casual, easygoing couch potato cat. Sarge will enforce his personal space with nips if he's pestered, so we don't think he would be happy in a home with small children.
Sarge came to us as a longtime resident of a feral colony. His feeder was concerned about new injures he had suffered and brought him into our care. Thankfully, while ugly, the injuries were not serious or permanent and he recovered quickly -- check out his oldest photos and then watch the glow up!
